I’m a little shy, and I don’t know any other members. Are you sure it’s OK for me to join Team Shenanigans?
YES! We’re a VERY welcoming group, and we LOVE meeting people and making new friends. You can send an e-mail to DopeyRunr (at) TeamShenanigans.org if you have any apprehension. Feel free to reach out before an event, or even better, just find us and introduce yourself! We’ll introduce you to other members.
I’m already a member of a running team. Can I still join Team Shenanigans?
Absolutely! Many of us belong to multiple running teams. Team Shenanigans is all about acceptance, provided you share the values in our mission statement.
Is this an actual running team?
YES! We believe that if you run, you’re a runner. By extension, we’re a running team!
I’m afraid I might be too slow to run with Team Shenanigans. What should I do?
At larger events, we have groups of runners at nearly every pace to accommodate most runners. At smaller events, we’ll decide what kind of pace we’re going to run, and let everyone know.
It’s totally up to you if you want to run with Team Shenanigans for all, some or none of the race. We won’t take it personally, we promise! You should never feel any obligation to run faster or slower than you’re comfortable with.
I want a Team Shenanigans shirt with my name on the back!
That’s not a question.
OK, how do I get a custom Team Shenanigans shirt with my name on the back?
Once you join Team Shenanigans, you’ll find detailed instructions and options in our private Facebook group.
